How long do Made‑to‑Order pieces take?

Handcrafted items made especially for you take 7–10 days in the workshop before dispatch. This allows time for shaping, sanding, oiling and a full hand‑finished cure.

We will share with you the wood we are working with, or a choice of options we think would be suitable for your piece prior to starting the process.

Can I make changes to a Made‑to‑Order piece?

Variations are possible on all pieces, dimensions, hardware and edging profiles, just let us know what you would like.

Available Now pieces
These are ready to ship and usually leave our Lincolnshire workshop within 1–2 working days.

Who delivers my order?
We use trusted, fully tracked UK couriers.
You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your parcel is on its way.

Most UK orders arrive within 1–3 business days after dispatch.

USA and Canada Delivery
Do you deliver to the USA?
Yes — we deliver to the USA with Free Delivery and all duties and taxes paid (DDP)

How long does USA and Canada delivery take?
Orders are shipped with UPS Worldwide Expedited and typically arrive within 4–7 business days.

Will I be charged customs fees?
No — all orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duties Paid).
Customers will never receive customs bills at checkout or on delivery.

Is tracking included?
Yes — every order includes full UPS tracking from dispatch to delivery.

How are items packaged for international delivery?
Each piece is wrapped, protected and boxed securely for international travel.
We reinforce packaging for hardwood items to ensure safe arrival.

Remote ZIP codes
Some remote ZIP codes may require additional delivery time.

Returns
Standard pieces can be returned within 30 days if they’re unused and in their original packaging.
Custom sizes or custom finishes are non‑returnable unless faulty.

Exchanges
We don’t offer exchanges.
If you’d like a different piece, simply return your item (if eligible) and place a new order.

How to Start a Return
Email thriverton@outlook.com with your order number.
We’ll approve the return and send you the correct return address and instructions.

International Orders
For USA/Canada and other international orders:
Use a tracked courier
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is damaged or incorrect
Duties paid at import are non‑refundable
You’ll never receive customs bills — Thriverton pays all duties before delivery.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
Contact us straight away.
We may ask for photos so we can resolve it quickly.

Refunds
Refunds are issued within 10 business days once your return is received and checked.
